“Niches are for Sissies”
When asked what I write about, I answer, “everything” because it’s true. Like all women, I am a multi-tasker and have no real desire to give any of it up! My interests are varied and I’m not afraid to try anything new. As a result, I’ve grown into a Jane of all trades and while I’m not perfect at anything except being imperfect, through some major trial and error, I’ve learned some things and I’m happy to share what with you.

Here is what I am: An advocate. At work as a doula and Holistic Health Counselor I spend a fair amount of time championing for women, which is what I love so I do it here on my blog as well. At home, I parent, which is advocacy in itself.
In my “free” time, I’m a music freak, a wanna be chef, world-traveler and photographer, a home-financial manager, a reading fanatic, a clothes lover, and everything else that falls under the category of modern woman-including television and movie junkie. Forget Right Hand Man, I’m a Right Hand Mom and I bet you are too.
If you’re here for hints, recipes, and tips, you’ll find some of those. You’ll also get stories from a real woman for real women-Rigth Hand style.

I started The Traveling Circus as a personal blog to write about my family and our appearance on HGTV’s Real Estate Intervention. Our brush with TV fame coincided with an out of state move so I needed a way to keep everyone in our large extended family connected. What started out as daily stories has morphed into a place where people come for comic relief and maybe a little inspiration. Thus, Right Hand Mom was born. It has since become and extension of the work I do as a doula and health counselor at Real Life Wellness. The Right Hand Mom is the blog where I share with my readers and clients the truth behind My Real Life.
